Tips for Fiber GDX
One scoop is all you need! We recommend getting the majority of your fiber through whole food sources.
You may want to being with 1/4 scoop to help your digestive system adjust to added fiber. There is no rush to get to 1 scoop; adding it too fast can promote intestinal gas, abdominal bloating, and cramping.
Be sure to stay hydrated while increasing your fiber intake. Fiber binds with water. Which is why you'll find your fiber becoming gel-like! This actually has a very important role in fiber! As soluble fiber dissolves, it creates a gel that can improve digestion in several ways.
If you are Intermittent Fasting, taking the Fiber GDX during your eating window is recommended as it has calories.
Tips:
Add it to 8 oz or more water and stir/shake vigorously. The more water, the better! Using a shaker bottle with a whisk ball or an agitator can help quickly mix up the fiber. If it begins to gel up, add more water and continue to shake and consume. A handheld mixer or frother is also good for mixing the fiber. Some people find it easier to consume quickly, and others like to continue to add water, shake, and consume over time.
Combine the fiber with other products, such as collagen or creatine, and add ingredients such as Greek yogurt with berries and water (lots of water!) and blend! This can help thin out the fiber a bit.
Dr. Haver and many of the 'Pause Nutrition team combine the Fiber GDX with Collagen or Creatine or both and add 12-24+ oz of water! It can help thin out the Fiber for a win!
Be mindful of your overall fiber consumption from both foods and supplements to avoid exceeding your body's capacity and potential digestive issues.
If you experience gas, bloating or discomfort, reduce the dosage and consult with your healthcare practioner to discuss your specific results. Fine tuning fiber intake can take time!
