What is the Galveston Diet?

The Galveston Diet consists of three tenets: intermittent fasting, an anti-inflammatory approach to nutrition, and shifting our nutritional intake to fuel our bodies.

When does the Galveston Diet online program start and finish?

The Program starts now and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online program – you decide when you start and when you finish.

What app do you suggest to track micronutrients?

Our preferred tracking app is Cronometer! Some other options are MyNet Diary, MyFitnessPal, LoseIt, CarbManager, and Fitbit. It is best if the program will calculate net carbs (carb – fiber = net carbs). Many of the Apps offer this feature, but you may have to pay a small charge.

are Nutritional supplements necessary?

We prefer that you get your nutrition from real food. Still, in situations where you can’t get critical nutrients, for example, Omega-3 Fatty Acids or Fiber – supplementation is a great idea. You can purchase The ‘Pause Nutrition supplements here.
